My Bridge-for-all 'Beginning Bridge' course runs every

 
Thursday morning from 10 am to 12 noon
Starting 17th September 2009
‘Bridge for All’ is a complete Learn and Play Programme from the English Bridge Union (EBU)
through accredited courses and qualified teachers.
The EBU is a non-profit organisation run for the benefit of duplicate
bridge playing members throughout England.
 The complete ‘Bridge for All’ programme consists of two 1-year courses
of which ‘Beginning Bridge’ is the first.
 In conjunction with the programme, the club runs 'No Fear' Duplicate Bridge sessions
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm for ‘Bridge for All’ students, ex-students
and players who prefer an easy-paced session.
 Initial Fee to EBU.
There is a one-off fee of £25.00 per person which provides
the ‘Beginning Bridge’ workbook
student membership of the EBU and Essex Contract Bridge Association (ECBA),
6 copies of ‘English Bridge’ a year (worth £15),
a free diary (worth £3.85),
the students' newsletter ‘Ruffian’ twice a year,
the opportunity to buy bridge items and books from the EBU Bridge Shop at discounted prices.
Weekly Fee to Southend and Leigh bridge Club and the Tutor.
On each day that you attend class, there is a fee of £5.00 which includes tea or coffee.

My 'Continuing Bridge' (Improvers) class is running on Tuesdays, 10 am to 12 noon . This is a follow-on course to the 'Beginning Bridge' course described above but it is also suitable for existing players who would like to improve their bidding and play.
